FISHING VESSEL SPILLS 3,500 GALLONS OF DIESEL NEAR VALDEZ; SKIPPER REFUSES DRUG TEST

The fishing vessel Nordic Viking ran hard aground about 25 miles south of Valdez, AL on July 21st. One of the vessel's fuel tanks was breached upon grounding, spilling up to 3,500 gallons of diesel fuel.
