A 37-foot power boat crashed into a break-wall near Edgewater Marina in Cleveland at about 25 knots at three in the morning on Saturday, June 9. The seven occupants of the vessel were rescued by the Coast Guard, and three required hospitalization for cuts, bruises, and head trauma. The operator of the craft was arrested under suspicion of intoxication.
An intoxicated boat operator will almost certainly be liable for injuries sustained during a vessel crash. If you have been injured in a vessel accident, contact Beard Stacey Trueb & Jacobsen, LLP to find out about your rights under maritime law, and visit our website.
